Join our Bunting Marathon at Sunnyfields Farm on Thursday 6th July from 13:00 – 15:00

Sunnyfields Farm has hosted the Scrapstore for over a year now and we have gone from strength to strength in our new home. We have a great little community of members many of whom are regulars and never go home empty handed.

When Farmer Ian asked us about bunting for the summer, we jumped at the opportunity to help out because if there are three things we have oodles of they are fabric, tape and enthusiasm. What better way to say thank you for all the support we have received from the team.

Whether you’re a member or not and whether you’ve enjoyed a visit to restock your craft stash or not, EVERYONE IS WELCOME. Let’s get a production line running.

What you need to know:

If you’re just coming to be sociable and have fun making bunting for the farm – it’s totally free of charge. If you’d like to take some bunting home there is a small charge of £2 and you will be donating every other triangle made to the farm. You can pay on the day.

All fabric and tape will be provided but you will need to bring your own sewing machine, thread, pins, scissors.

Basic sewing machine skills are required as our volunteers will be cutting, ironing and sewing bunting onto tape so unfortunately we will not be in teaching mode.

Refreshments (Tea, Coffee and Sunnyfields cake) will be provided but please bring a water bottle and a reusable cup.
